From what I understand it's proxy time here at TBN again. Mrs. Ingold is on the hunt to ensure her continued "leadership" of this building. So as she approaches you; with clipboard, proxy and pen in hand, looking forlorn and perhaps even crying, ask yourself these few basic questions: 1. Why is there a mechanics lean against our building for $439,000? 2. Why are the financial statements given to the residents so vague? 3. Why are we paying so much in legal fees? 4. Why is Mr. Levin still hired as "our" attorney? 5. Why have we continued to use Savemax to repair the outside of our building? 6. Why are we using the same general contractor to inspect the work done here (after many years of poor workmanship performed) and finally 7. Why can't the residents have a bulletin board? And as always, just a reminder, only 44 days until April 24

Just to show you the kind of shameless, self-indulgent, kiss your ass now attitude that was exhibited to me on Thursday, the day prior to receiving official paperwork on the candidates in this years election...the 3rd or 30th request for my proxy and when refused, a request for my votes to go to 3 certain people (never mentioning the other candidates). One being to returning 'yes man' Goglin, who is a very smart, educated man who is a professor at Truman; the 2nd, the GAY replacement to our 'yes woman' who passed last year, who is a very brilliant and professional man with a fantastic job...so anyone gay in the building must vote for him; and finally, the elder statesman who should be retiring and resting himself, needs a cpl votes just to humor him (if she asks everyone to humor him, he will become the next president). Seeing that the building is ever so social, I shutter to think that we will have a "Meet the Candidate" event prior to the election, as that would give us time to bury the 'yes folk' with questions and make our mind up, instead of reading some half assed questionaire where desiring 'world peace' is everyone's default response. Some questions that need asking are: 1) Where and how much is the rent money that has been collected for Ned's unit on the 1st floor? Correct me if I am wrong, but, I do not recall seeing it listed anywhere. 2) Seeing we have unreliable doormen, where is all that money we are saving? 3) Why can't the outer doors on the 1st floor be silenced by applying noise deadening material to cushion the slamming door? 4) Where is our bulletin board? 5) Why hasn't Save Max been forced to repair the driveway under the canopy that retains water every time it sprinkles out...they poured it, and poorly at that. Oh the questions can go on and on, none of which will be answered, truthfully, so why waste your breath. But, keep them in mind when it comes to signing a proxy to her or voting intelligently for the 2 candidates that WILL do something on the board...first of being, removing her from being president and sitting her ass in the back row as a board member, NOT executive board member. Oh yeah, why has the meeting been moved back yet another week? is it because the snowbirds return from down south and will sign over to her? YUP.
