I did not take the TBN shopping carts. I did take 4 stolen grocery store carts in April of 2011 and returned them to the Dominick’s cart recyclers as instructed to do by the Dominick’s Manager. I also told the Board of of Directors in writing that I was going to do it, so there are no secrets there.
It is also not secret that I have a problem with the Board of Directors allowing owners to STEAL shopping carts from stores and put them in storage across from my unit. We should not accept STOLEN property and store it on our grounds, it’s illegal. I don’t have a problem with the TBN carts; they are smaller and create less noise than the stolen ones. However, I do have a problem with the Board of Directors not following the TBN rules for noise and ignoring the City of Chicago Noise Ordinance Part C 11-4-2900 (9b).
I was taken to court on charges of theft of 8 carts in July of 2011, which was a lie and this was pointed out in court. I won, even though Mrs. Ingold was accompanied by a lynch mob of 5 others to say they saw me on video taking them. The judge sent them out. He also had words with Levin, stating that he was out of line. The judge said that I am allowed peace in my home and that the carts were stolen, giving me every right to remove them from the property. None of this happened overnight. I wrote the Board letters, requested time limits, residential friendly carts. I even offered to buy carts, but they said no, sorry you can’t sleep at night, too bad.
So, if you want to know who took the carts, ask Mrs. Ingold, she has 8 cameras and at least 4 on my floor. Why don't they file charges like they did me? I think we all know the answer to that question. I know one TBN cart is used by a Board member exclusively. There is also one in the storage this morning. If there are 4 then 2 are MISSING, not STOLEN. If the person is an owner, then they can do whatever they want with the carts THEY help purchase. There are no rules that say otherwise. The problem is that there are no RULES.
I spoke with Mrs. Ingold this morning about the lien and she did not say anything to me about carts. Why post a sign if you know who did it? Why doesn’t the Board of Directors just give the letter to them?
If anyone has any other questions, ask me when you see me. I will tell you all you want to know…
Please stop whispering outside my door, I can hear you.
